A CIKK MAGYAR NYELVŰ VÁLTOZATA

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office published its information bulletins regarding the new version of the national Standard Classification of Occupations, known as FEOR-08. This system will replace the previous FEOR-93.

The CSO has published the methodology that will give help for better understanding and proper application of the 4-digit system. This bulletin includes, inter alia, the main aspects of the classification system, the main characteristics of the transition. Detailed descriptions have been also published for each occupation which helps better classification of specific jobs.
A search engine is also available which can serve as a good tool for identifying the new codes of the occupation and serves as a translator between the old and the new system.
The materials are available on the CSO website together with an information bulletin on the International Standard Classification of Occupations (ISCO-08) in English.
The Official Communication also contains the old and new occupation numbers for those jobs which are listed in the paragraph 3.§ (3) of the simplified tax law (EKHO).  

On 1^st January 2011, the old FEOR-93 will be automatically repealed.
